On Saturday, June 1, Pridefest will begin with a parade at 2:00 (lineup begins at 1:30), starting at Foothills on Market Street and moving up Main Street, then around to Neahwa Park! The welcoming ceremony will begin at 2:30.

This year’s theme is Stonewall 50, reflecting on the history of Pride and LGBTQIA+ advocacy. We will continue the tradition of honoring those lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer fellow human beings who were murdered during 2018, and present awards to those who have contributed much to our local community.

And there’s entertainment: Music and Zumba! A busker and children’s activities. Yoga! More music and two (yes, TWO) drag shows! And vendors – and food – and prizes based on the number on your program book – make sure you keep it handy.

At 8:30 we will conclude the evening with fireworks donated from First Night. Come march and play, enjoy the day!
