hank you to everyone who joined us for the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk today and to all who were able to donate to Team Kota. We exceeded our goal and raised $2,669!! Otsego County raised almost $47,000, most of which supports suicide prevention locally.
Team Kota, founded in 2022, walks every year to honor the memory of our friend, Kota Flood who we lost to suicide in 2021. We also walk show trans and queer kids, like him that they are loved, supported and needed.
For Kota; with love and sadness in our souls, we are honored to know you, love you and remember you. 🏳️⚧️

The 2nd Annual Foothills Fringe is happening this September 20th-22nd here at Foothills!
This event features three days of music, dance, film, stand up comedy, and performance art of all varieties! Applications are being accepted from April 1st until June 30th, so if you want to bring YOUR performance art to one of our stages, apply now and join in what is going to be an amazing weekend of performance art!

The best way to keep up with events is to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to get updates and reminders. But here are some recurring events we host that you can keep in mind!
OPA Teen Night (Twice Monthly)
Held twice a month at the Oneonta Teen Center on Fridays, 7pm-10pm.

Pridefest in Oneonta (June)
FREE! Usually held on the first Saturday in June in Oneonta!
Vendors, please pencil us in for that date!

Pride Prom (June)
Usually held on the last Saturday in June in Oneonta. 18+ only.
OPA Family Picnic (July or August)
Usually held in July or August at Gilbert Lake.
Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk (September)
Held in September for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
OPA walk for Team Kota, in honor of our friend Kota Flood.
Holiday Bazaar (Nov or Dec)
FREE! Usually held in late November or Early December in Oneonta.
