Jahyra Joelle- Drag Performer
I started drag in 1998 in NYC with a few friends, after seeing some
gorgeous entertainers grace the stage. I said I wanted to be just
like them. Well my family and I moved to upstate NY and I stumbled upon a small club in Highland, NY called Prime Time and met some fabulous friends/ entertainers and that became my stepping stone. I entertained pageants, contests, and shows. And it became non stop traveling. One day I saw an ad for a competition in Albany, NY at Water Works Pub and so I said "Why not?". I competed against 20 something girls, and I won!!!! I met a performer named Ms. Hazel and she brought me to Phoenix in Albany and said to the host there book her she’s going to change the game. And I became the “it” girl for many years in Albany. I won pageants, shows, and hosted many gigs, as well as raised money for multiple charities. One day I had just way too many shows and stress in my life and didn’t like where I was in life. Went down a dark tunnel and rather than killing myself I called a friend and after the conversation moved to Oneonta, NY for a quiet life. A few years off of shows I met Lilly Bola via Facebook and she took a chance on me, and I haven’t stopped performing since. I enjoy telling you all a story through my drag.”

Lilly Bola- Drag Performer
For nearly 11 years now, Lilly Bola has been gracing the upstate New York drag scene and spreading the beauty of garbage everywhere she goes. From hosting the first ever Otsego County Pride to building her own shows and programs, Lilly has used her voice to speak up for the younger generation in times when their voices are not heard.
Known for her quick wit, dry humor, and inability to keep a wig on, Lilly is excited to be part of this year’s annual pride.
The support is needed now more than ever. We will get through it.

Although I am new to this I AM TRUE TO THIS. This is my first time performing a largely watched and anticipated event and I’m so excited to show what I have to offer to the community! Drag is political. With everything going on in our country and world, I think it’s important to speak up, show you care, and live as you are!
