The proposed rule "Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Hospital Condition of Participation: Prohibiting Sex-Rejecting Procedures for Children" would prohibit hospitals enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid from providing most services for the treatment of gender dysphoria, including puberty blockers, HRT, and surgeries.
